Yamaha Upright piano 121cm VS Conober Cable Upright 118cm? HELP PLS!?
I am currently in the process of looking for a piano. im in my early stages of grading and am about to start my preliminary course.. currently working on a keyboard i know i need to upgrade, though i want something that i dont need to change throughout my grading. After some serious shopping, i dont know what one to buy yet? the Canober Cable CC 118 or the Yamaha U 10BL? i was also thinking an Alex Steinbach? I REALLY DONT KNOW? WHAT ONE? HELP ME OUT PLEASE surely open to other suggestions also?
Yamaha Upright piano 131 cm U3H?
i would simply like to know when these piano's were made? i have got my eye on this particular piano the U3H selling for $4500AUD.the seller at the showroom says that it was made about 22 years ago.. although after reading this data sheet aysco.com 2yamahaupright.htm it states that the pianos of this model are made from 1971 1980? is this dealer being dishonest? S or is it possible? if the seller is being honest, is it worth for the given price?the serial number is as follows.. H 2518731i know it is a " grey market piano" but who cares THANKS
Has anyone found the Yamaha upright piano to have a very bright sound?
I own a Yamaha upright that's about twelve thirteen years old. I've found that it's much too bright for my liking because I tend to play classical music. The recent models tend to almost be upright grands. My own Yamaha is so short compared to the newer pianos, which sound much warmer. I did ask the tuner last time about the tonal quality of the piano and he says that Yamahas tend to make pretty bright uprights. I'm wondering if anyone else has experienced the same?Of course, with years of playing, the hammers are probably a little worn, but I remember my piano to always have been brighter and " harder" than most other pianos in terms of sound. And does anyone know how much I could possibly sell it for? It's in relatively good condition, both internally and externally looks brand new, actually . I'll probably fix it up a bit before I do put it on the market, but how much would people be willing to pay you think? Just rough estimates is good enough. Thank you

Is this second hand Yamaha upright piano worth SGD800(USD657)?
I bought a second hand Yamaha upright piano from a person who used it for 4 years. He said he also bought it from another person second handed. I guess this makes it third handed. There are like a tiny chip on the bottom of three piano keys and at the side there's a chip off wood about the size of half the ping pong ball. The piano new currently cost 3.8 thousand at a shop. So is it worth it?
