Will learning piano help me learn guitar?
I'm a huge lover of music and have been for years. I've always wanted to learn the guitar but I also have recently learned to love the piano. I really want to learn to play it fluently. There are some really great pieces of music out there. Nobou Vematsu is a genius. Anyways, I already have a decent musical background. I've played the sax for 7 years so I know most everything about sheet music, scales, time signatures, etc so I feel like I have a shot on picking up some things about the piano fairly quickly. But my long term goal is playing the guitar which I struggle with . Do you think learning the piano first is a good idea?

So I just started taking piano lessons this year, but I have struggles, im 14 and i have a cousin who took lessons from the same person but he is amazing and he took it for a couple years, he also can play the drums, which i would also like to pursue late on. but i get frustrated because my hand gets tired and its hard to stretch if. he is awesome at it, i want to play like him. any advise. on how ti help me. im very disciuarged about it i feel like im not gonna be good. people say i am, but im still discouraged.
Problems with learning piano help!!?
I have been playing piano for about 1 1 2 years self taught to give u a hint on my grade level i find fur elise easy to play ,moonlight sonata etc anyway I have been playing by ear and have only just started learning to read sheet music music theory and i know the letters etc but not how many beats eg. a double quaver etc has anyway the problem is i can only play songs i know how to sing or know the tune to but cant read songs i havnt listened to also once ive played the tune literally once i remember every noteso. i end up not really reading the music properly . whats wrong shannon 13 years

How can I learn piano?
I need help learning piano. So Whenever I hear a note I can tell if its sharp or flat. It's really weird. Then I can duplicate it on the piano. I can't actually read piano music but I will hear a song and then a few days later think of it again and start playing it on piano. I tried taking lessons from a regular piano teacher, but after a few months she had me stop because I would switch over to playing by ear and not recognize that I was doing it. I did not realize that there were words in songs until I was in 4th grade because I would only listen to the background music. I can tell by listening to a song for a few seconds all the instruments in it. I also have trouble because I take guitar lessons and if a note is off tune it messes me up until the note is perfect again. I really am struggling because I would like to go into a professional vocal career except I can not learn piano.
Can i learn piano on a casio keyboard?
i have a CTK 491 keyboard and i want to start learning how to play piano. i was wondering if i could start learning piano on it it doesnt have 88 keys and their not weighted and theres no pedals but would it be sutible to help me learn the basics? thank you p.s im 14 so i cant afford my own piano at the moment

I have been learning piano by ear, then i just started learning songs from tutorials on YouTube. But i seemed to forget some of the songs i learned on YouTube. Should i learn sheet music or keep learning by YouTube Ear?
