Cheap used classic electric piano?
I absolutely adore yamaha cp70 and 80 and the fender rhodes and other classic electric pianos etc, etc, and I would love to own one but they are sooo expensive. Are there any cheaper alternatives?

Best electric piano or digital piano for 300$?
I REAAALLY want a nice sounding piano that is at least a 76 key. I had the YPG 235 and I had to send it back . It sounded great but some of the keys squeaked when you pressed them so I dont want another piano that does that .

I have a roland 20xl amplifier for electric guitar and i also have a yamaha Clavinova cvp 409 and wondered what would happen when I connected the two together. You would put the lead cable where the headphones usually go in the piano and then connect it to the amp but i'm worried I might damage something.

How to record electric piano via open mic?
My band and I do a lot of acoustic stuff piano, guitar, soft percussion etc. Recording the guitar usually comes out nice but the one thing I keep having trouble with is getting good sound on recording my electric piano. Unfortunately, my electric Yamaha piano is too out of date to hook up to my laptop so I can't record it through an interface which really sucks so I'm stuck having to record it through an open mic in my room. This is a problem. Currently I'm using a Blue Snowball USB mic to capture the sound. I tried putting a box over the mic where the speaker on the piano was to try and contain the sound and get rid of the background noise and although that made it a little better it still has a lot of empty space noise and it just doesn't sound professional at all. I tried lowering volumes on the piano and making them higher, lowering and making higher the mic intake, everything. But I just can't get a good sound via open mic recording. I use garage band to mix it, is there anything in garage band that would enhance it to make it sound better? Again, I've pretty much tried every effect and method in garage band. Anyways if you have any suggestions please help me. Thanks.
Electric piano out of tune?
I've got a Yamaha electric piano not a keyboard , and when I started playing today, it was out of tune.I haven't done anything or changed the voltage etc..., but if I Unplug it and plug it again, it doesn't solve the problem.Is there any way I can solve it? jg5869 Wwhen I turn it off and on again, it usually goes back to its default setting, so I don't understand why it is out of tune , because I haven't hit it or anything, so there shouldn't be anything wrong inside...

What are the technical differences between an electric piano and a synthesizer?I have a 6 year old son who is going to take piano lessons and I would like to know what the technical differences are between an electric piano and a synthesizer? I plan to buy either a synthesizer or an electric piano for my son .
