Which classical piano piece is harder to learn?
Fantasie Impromptu or Moonlight Sonata? Can I just add I am grade 8 piano, and have learned the first two pages of both. I am finding Moonlight easier slower, but at the speeds both are meant to be played I am finding Fantasie a lot easier apart from the tension I get in my right hand using the second and third fingers a lot . I thought I would ask just to see what other people think really. And yes I am talking about the 3rd movement of the sonata. I don't have a teacher now so that's why I thought I would ask you guys.

I need help finding a classical piano song I can learn fast!?
I have been playing the piano for 10 years and I accompany 5 choirs at my high school. I was asked to perform at an event at my school and I need to play two songs. One song that I am playing is Arabesque No. 1 by Debussy. I do not like much of the other songs I have prepared so I want to learn a new one. I have 5 days to learn a new song. I can sight read well and I can play the piano well. Arabesque No. 1 by Debussy was the last classical song I learned. I have also learned in the past The Clair de lune by Debussy and Arabesque No. 2 by Debussy. Any suggestions of what I should learn for this perfomance?

I need a classical piano recital piece!! please help!?
I want to play an original classical piece, preferably something that is known and recongziable, maybe a piece that is in a movie? I have been playing for 7 years, and I need a challenge, but not something extremly difficult. I want to find one that is beautiful, and fun to sit down and play. I don't prefer fast or stacatto, I like pretty, classical, relaxing, refelctive peices. I am open to suggestions i need a recital piece thanks
Long classical piano songs?
I want to find some longer classical songs that are on piano. I want some songs that are 10 minutes or longer.
Fast, classical piano piece?
I need a piano recital piece. The recital isn't until May so i will have time to work on a more difficult piece. I want it to be fast, showy, very impressive, and somewhat challenging. I'm probably at an early advanced or more level and i am up for a challenge but nothing crazy hard. It also needs to be SHORT. Time limit is about 3 min. People usually play two pieces within 3 min. but one is okay. Also if anyone knows of any beautiful, lyrical not extremely slow, though pieces that could go withthe fast one that would be great. Thanks

What are some classical/piano pieces that I would enjoy?
I have been thinking for a while that I would like to experience some classical music for a change. I originally listen to rock music, but whenever I here Debussy Clair De Lune or and I know you will all dislike me for saying this Bella's Lullaby which is heard in the film 'Twilight' I have liked it very much as I think they are both beautiful. I know there has been some fuss about Bella's Lullaby not being real classical music, but i can't deny that I do like it as it is relaxing etc. I'm not just saying I like it because it is in the film, as quite honestly, I am not that much of a lover of Twilight. If you could give me some insight as to what I would enjoy as well as these, and too broaden my music knowledge, it would be appreciated. Many thanks to whomever helps
Classical Piano Method Book?
I'm a huge fan of classical music and would have to say my favorite category of compositions are the beautiful piano concertos of the legendary Western composers.I've recently started playing the piano in hopes of one day being able to play classical pieces. I've been using Alfred's Basic Adult Piano Course and feel I'm learning at a steady pace. Though I'm charmed by it's delightfully light hearted pieces and have fun learning and playing them, I've recently started to get the feeling the series won't lead much into a strictly classical direction. Now to my question Could anybody point out any strictly classical piano books series for a beginner who dreams big? I've already got The Well Tempered Clavier in mind, but I'm not sure whether or not it's too up there for me.Thanks A.J.R.
